The Bizcommunity Media Miles Rewards Programme ("Programme") is owned, operated and promoted by Bizcommunity.com. The Programme is issued by and remains the property of Bizcommunity.com which reserves the right to alter or change operational conditions of the Programme or to terminate it at any point.
In the event of Programme termination, Bizcommunity Media Miles Rewards ("Miles") will remain valid for 30 days thereafter. Miles already redeemed will not be affected.

Any abuse whatsoever of the Programme by any person constitutes a criminal offence, and Bizcommunity.com reserves the right to cancel such person's membership, and withhold all rewards from her/his account.
Being registered as a member of the Programme irrevocably signifies your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. Bizcommunity.com, its organisers, promoters, partners and agencies do not bear any responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, accident, death or asset damage howsoever arising from inclusion or participation in the Bizcommunity Media Miles Programme.
Participation in the Programme is subject to the Terms and Conditions, rules, regulations, policies and procedures that Bizcommunity.com may, in its discretion, apply and/or amend from time to time. Should any person not agree to be bound by the Programme rules, that person may not participate in the Programme.
The Programme and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Bizcommunity.com, which has the right, without limitation, to unilaterally change, limit, modify or cancel the rules at any time.
Bizcommunity Media Miles Rewards Programme registration requirements
To participate, please supply us with your full names, company name and job title, email address and date of birth. You will be required to contact a Bizcommunity.com key account manager to manage and redeem your Miles, or to change your details.
By providing Bizcommunity.com with your personal information and opting into communications, you give Bizcommunity.com permission to send you additional information regarding the Programme.
A valid cell phone number, and/or postal address, and/or email address will be required from each member of the Programme for all communications. In the event you wish to opt out of these communications, contact us on +27 (0)21 404 1460, or send an email to .
The Programme remains the property of Bizcommunity.com and its subsidiary or associated companies.
Bizcommunity.com reserves the right to decline, issue and withdraw Programme membership at its discretion.
Miles are not transferable between planners, individuals or any other party. In the event the member should relocate and remain in a same or similar position, the key accounts manager should be notified in writing, or by telephone, and the necessary update to the account be made.
Miles may not be used for transactions beyond Bizcommunity.com, and are solely transferable for advertising on Bizcommunity.com.
Bizcommunity.com cannot be held liable for loss of Miles or monetary value.
In the event of a dispute relating to the value of Miles for received briefs or confirmed conversions, Bizcommunity.com reserves the right to refer to and reconcile the points balance and value thereof to the line item detail of transfers which resides on the Miles management system. The reconciled Miles balance will be deemed to be the de facto value. Miles are valid for the duration of this Programme from the date of registration, and can be used at any time during the validity period.
On registration into the Programme, the registrant agrees to be included into the Bizcommunity.com database for promotional purposes, where you will receive promotional emails and SMSes from Bizcommunity.com and third parties, while not having your personal information divulged to the said third parties. Entry into the Programme will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Earning and spending your Miles
To earn Miles, the member must submit a genuine, existing and active client brief for advertising, which clearly states the objective of the campaign, client, campaign duration, budget, target market, any specific section/site, material size and targeting (geographic, gender, city, country, time of day). Furthermore, earning Miles requires registration and sign-in for the Programme and uploading or submission via the Programme custom page.
Miles will be tracked and accumulated on Bizcommunity.com's secure online systems, where no information will be divulged to third parties. It is not possible to earn Miles retrospectively for campaigns delivered in the past where the Programme was not active or the member was not registered.
500 Miles is earned for every one genuine brief received, the condition of which is stipulated above. 500 Miles is equivalent in value to R500 in advertising value on the Bizcommunity.com site. You will receive your Miles within five days of submission of the brief.
Miles will be conducted in a three-tier system, whereby the member can only transfer the accumulated Miles at increments of 2,500 Miles, 5,000 Miles or 10,000 Miles into the equivalent and respective advertising on Bizcommunity.com.
Bizcommunity.com reserves the right to disregard all same or duplicated briefs, and only permit the first received brief of the same or duplicate list throughout the lifetime of the Programme.
Miles will reflect in your account, accessible online via the Programme custom page within five days of your brief submission.
Opportunities to earn extra Media Miles will be given at the discretion of Bizcommunity.com.
In the event a received brief is converted into a confirmed sale with a signed and received booking order, the member will receive additional Miles within five days. The additional Miles will be structured as follows:
- R5000 - R100,000 = 2,500 Miles
- R100,001 - R200,000 = 5,000 Miles
- R200,001 - R300,000 = 10,000 Miles
- R300,001+ qualifies the member for First Class privileges as can be found via this link.
In the event that Bizcommunity.com's systems are offline, certain Miles transactions may be impacted and unavailable for the duration. This includes, but is not limited to, redemption of rewards, amending member details and uploading/submitting a brief. Miles earning will not be affected, however, resubmission at a later stage may be required.
